They’re crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and use way less oil than deep frying—plus super easy!


Ingredients 🛒

  • 2–3 large potatoes (Russet works best)
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Optional:
    • Garlic powder
    • Paprika
    • Black pepper

Step-by-Step Instructions 👨‍🍳

1. Cut the Fries

  • Slice potatoes into even sticks
    👉 Even size = even cooking

2. Soak (Important!)

  • Soak in cold water for 20–30 minutes
    👉 Removes starch = crispier fries

3. Dry Well

  • Pat completely dry with a towel
    👉 Moisture = soggy fries

4. Season

  • Toss with oil, salt, and spices

5. Air Fry

  • Preheat to 380°F (193°C)
  • Cook for 15–20 minutes
  • Shake basket halfway through

6. Extra Crisp Finish 🔥

  • Increase to 400°F (200°C) for last 3–5 minutes
