This is one of those “looks fancy, tastes amazing, but super easy” meals 🙌
You get crispy breaded chicken, rich marinara, and gooey melted cheese—all without frying in oil.


🛒 Ingredients (Serves 2–3)

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (Italian-style or regular)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • ½–1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder, Italian seasoning

👨‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Prep the Chicken

  • Slice breasts in half (thinner pieces cook better)
  • Pat dry and season with salt & pepper

2. Bread It

  • Beat egg in one bowl
  • Mix breadcrumbs + Parmesan in another
  • Dip chicken → egg → breadcrumb mixture

3. Air Fry (First Round)

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C)
  • Lightly spray chicken
  • Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway

4. Add Sauce & Cheese

  • Spoon marinara on top
  • Add mozzarella

5. Air Fry Again

  • Cook 3–5 more minutes
    👉 Until cheese is melted and bubbly

6. Rest & Serve

  • Let sit 2–3 minutes
  • Serve hot
