  • 1 whole chicken (3–4 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: lemon halves + garlic cloves (for inside cavity)

1. Prep the Chicken

  • Pat chicken completely dry (key for crispy skin!)
  • Remove giblets if included
  • Rub oil or butter all over

2. Season Generously

  • Mix spices and coat entire chicken
  • Don’t forget under wings and inside cavity
